Yet, I am Loved

Isn’t God amazing?

The Gospel, His plan of salvation and redemption for mankind.

For people who are far from being perfect, He has given perfect love.

i am nothing, yet I am loved by the One who will never leave me and let go of me

not because of who i am, but because of who He is.

It is through seeing just how disgusting I am that God’s love becomes even harder to understand, but praise God!

If I could understand God’s being it would be too much for me.

 

False humility is the worst kind of pride; it esteems oneself above others. In trying to become the first by becoming the last, I have truly become the last by trying to become the first.

False humility makes people uncomfortable; true humility leads people to praise Christ. May God continue to chip, break away at my cheap counterfeits and replace them with His very own. There is so much to change, if not everything!

My heart is beating; if it would just only beat for God’s will to be done.

Please pray for me, that God would do whatever is necessary to break my pride and give Him control of my life. Even as I write this I know I’m probably seeking people’s pity and trying to make myself to be as a person who really is trying to be the best person he could be. But I’m not willing, that is why I am so distressed.

“Be honest. Be direct and be willing to let someone ask you questions you might not want to answer at first. Sometimes a good friend is the only way to recognize the cloak of false humility.”

I always asked, “Why? Why? Why?

 

…the answer I got was, “Do you trust Me?”

 

 

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart, and wait for the Lord.

Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

You are my friends if you do what I command.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

My grace is enough for you.
