“So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom. Return, O Lord! How long? Have pity on your servants! Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.”

– Psalm 90:12-13

Lord, please allow me to understand that my time here on earth is limited! Don’t let me take my life for granted! Forgive me for being so weak and always trying to Live without You as my life! Please, everyday I want to be renewed with Your love, refreshed in the morning so that I may spend the rest of my days delighting in You, Always!

“THIS PSALM was evidently composed towards the end of the wilderness wanderings, and records some of the sadness which must have oppressed the heart of Moses, as he saw the companions of his earlier life being buried amid the sand-dunes.”

– written by Moses in the desert, most likely near the end of his life.

“It was as though the heart of this mighty servant of God turned from the fleeting ages and the decay of human life, to God, whose Being is timeless, unchangeable, and eternal. ”

– Moses turned his attention away from his weak and mortal self and focused on God, Who is sovereign and eternal.

“It is when we realize how short life is that we set ourselves in good earnest to redeem the time, to buy up each golden opportunity.”

– We should be comparing our short and fleeting life with God’s infinite time, from the beginning to the end. Make the most out of every opportunity because time is limited!

“The heart of wisdom will show itself in giving God a just proportion of our time. Every day it is wise to set apart time for the reading of His Word, for prayer and holy fellowship;”

– Truely, give to God your time; He is worthy of it! Read the Bible, pray at every opportunity and spend time in fellowship with fellow brothers and sisters!

“It is specially wise to make God to be our Guide, that He may show us how to use this precious thing called life.”

– We must allow God to guide our every step; every decision we must make, everything that comes up in life, we need to let God take control! Only by allowing God to lead our lives can we truely live! Spend time with God everyday!

– Any time spent with God is not futile! Through those times will come amazing blessings and joy, and through that God will lead our lives to the fullest! Thank God!
